  15.      _m_k_c_e_n_t_p_r installs a printer with a parallel interface for use with the
  16.      System V printer spooling system.
  17.  
  18.      _m_k_c_e_n_t_p_r is an interactive installation program that will display
  19.      available options and prompt for the relevant installation parameters.
  20.      You must be root to execute _m_k_c_e_n_t_p_r.

  22.      The program first asks for the name you wish to give the printer. This
  23.      name must be no more than fourteen characters. See lpadmin(1M) for more
  24.      information on naming printers. After entering a name for the printer,
  25.      the program asks for the pathname of the parallel port device file.
  26.      _m_k_c_e_n_t_p_r attempts to determine an appropriate default parallel device
  27.      file. To accept the default device press Enter at the prompt.  If a
  28.      printer is already installed on the specified parallel port the name of
  29.      the printer is displayed and the option is given to continue or abort the
  30.      installation.

  32.      Once a name and device have been selected for the printer, a list of
  33.      printer types is displayed. Enter the number of the printer type you wish
  34.      to install.

  36.      The printer will be installed and the current printing environment will
  37.      be displayed (i.e. lpstat -t).
